This present study was a hospital-based, case-control study, where we took fifty unexplained-infertility females and fifty normal healthy as controls. MDA and hcy levels were estimated utilizing blood tests taken from the case and control groups. The present study found higher levels of MDA and hcy in the case than in the controls. These results observed the correlation between MDA and hcy levels and female infertility without an apparent cause. These findings could have important implications for future research and the development of infertility treatments. In conclusion, measuring MDA and plasma(t)hcy levels may be essential in determining the cause of unexplained female infertility. This study suggests that these substances may be associated with this condition, and their levels could be used to identify and treat infertility in women. Further, more study is needed to determine the meticulous nature of the relationship between MDA, homocysteine, and unexplained infertility. Still, these findings could be a valuable starting point for future investigations.
Vishi Rawat*, Rekha Devi, Vandana Yadav, Sneh Shalini, Anubha Bajpai, Rinki Kumari, GP Dubey Copyright (c) 2023 https://zhyxycx.life/index.php/cjmg/article/view/506 Tue, 07 Nov 2023 00:00:00 +0000 A STUDY TO ASSESS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF VIDEO ASSISTED TEACHING PROGRAMME ON KNOWLEDGE REGARDING TRIAGE AMONG STAFF NURSES AT SELECTED HOSPITAL KANPUR, UTTAR PRADESH https://zhyxycx.life/index.php/cjmg/article/view/511
The word triage comes from the French word trier, meaning ‘to sort." In the daily routine of the Emergency Department, triage is used to sort patients into groups based on the severity of their health problems and the immediacy with which these problems must be treated. Triage is the process of determining the priority of patient's treatment based on the severity of their condition. Triage consist of rapidly classifying the injured on the basis of the severity of their injuries and the likelihood of their survival with prompt medical intervention triage is only approach that can provide maximum benefit to the greatest number of injured in a major disaster situation.

The objectives of the study to assess the level of knowledge regarding triage among staff nurse. To evaluate the effectiveness of video assisted teaching programme on knowledge regarding triage among staff nurses. To find out the association between Post-test knowledge score regarding triage among staff nurses with their selected socio-demographic variables. Quasi experimental one group pre-test post-test design was used to conduct the study among 60 Staff Nurses, who were selected by using non probability purposive sampling technique. The data was collected by self-structured knowledge questionnaire method to assess their knowledge regardingTriage among Staff Nurses. The study was conducted in selected Hospitals of Kanpur (U.P). The result of the study showed that the mean and standard deviation of pre-test and post-test level of knowledge among staff nurses is 11.07± 3.94 and 19.75± 4.32. The obtained ‘t’ value is 16.74 with 59 degree of freedom was higher than the table value 2.00 with p value<0.05. This shows that there was significant difference association between pre-test and post-test knowledge regarding triage. Chi square was computed there was significant association between the post-test level of knowledge with demographic variables such as Age (14.89), Educational status (15.94), Family income in rupees (26.27) and Years of experience (27.52) at p>0.05 level of significant. The study was concluded that there was an effectiveness of Video Assisted Teaching Programme on Knowledge regarding Triage among Staff Nurses.
Miss Sakshi Singh, Miss Srishti Kumari, Miss Srishti Yadav, Miss T.
