Congenital absence of the hand is a rare developmental malformation, and now a case we have encountered is reported later. The case was a 19-year-old male who was born without a left hand. Clinical examination: the left hand was completely absent, a soft tissue mass remained on the distal forearm of the left forearm, and there were no pores on the palm side, which was the tender palm skin. See also 4 slightly raised finger bud marks. The soft tissue block can still perform voluntary flexion and extension movements of about 20°. The forearm is thinner than the healthy side.
