FRAMEWORKS FOR THE NEWS TREATMENT OF THE US WITHDRAWAL FROM AFGHANISTAN IN AL-SABAH NEWSPAPER

Abstract

This research deals with the frameworks of the news treatment used by Al-Sabah newspaper for the issue of the American withdrawal from Afghanistan.

This research is a descriptive study, and the researcher relied on the survey method, both descriptive and analytical As for the study, the researcher used the content analysis tool represented by the content analysis form, and the research community consists of Al-Sabah newspaper within the period from 4/10/2021 to 10/10/2021, and the examination was carried out using a comprehensive inventory method for the newspaper’s numbers, which amounted to “180” issues.

The researcher reached several results, including that Al-Sabah newspaper focused on the specific framework of a case, relied on rational methods, and focused on social and humanitarian issues.
