Gorlin syndrome, also known as basal cell nevus syndrome, is a rare genetic disorder. Jarisch (1894) first reported a case of nevus-like basal cell carcinoma with skeletal abnormalities. In the same year, White reported a family of multiple basal cell carcinomas, after Nomland (1932), Rittersma (1972) and Gao Jinsheng (1983) related.
